YFC3 is a newly formed power trio in the Twin Cities.  By no means is this group strangers to the Twin Cities music scene, as it is comprised of members who have notable credits in their respective genres. Bassist, Ethan Yeshaya, has played alongside several Twin Cities artists in a plethora of musical genres. Ethan is the bassist for neo soul-rock band AYVAH and has also made his mark playing bass in the Twin Cities gospel circuit. Ethan is currently playing alongside City Pages 2017 Best New Artist in Minnesota Award recipient, Thomas Abban.  Veteran drummer Cedric Fuller, who before moving to Minnesota spent years on the Atlanta music scene backing neo-soul, jazz, and gospel artists. Fuller stepped onto the Twin Cities music scene in 2015 and in 2016 founded his fusion/soul jazz band Cedric Fuller & Global Sound. Global Sound was a featured band in the 2017 Twin Cities Summer Jazz Festival. Guitarist Spencer Christensen is the founder and co-leader of the popular Minneapolis funk band PHO. With PHO, Christensen has opened for Larry Graham at Paisley Park and also headlined at Minneapolis’s Mecca of musical venues, First Avenue. Spencer has served as Musical Director for BeBe Zahara Benet and is currently doing session work for Kirk Johnson, of Prince’s New Power Generation.

Collectively, the Trio unites to create their unique spin of music by some of their musical influences such as D’Angelo, Jimi Hendrix, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder and more.
