The Catcalls will be doing a stripped-down set as an acoustic/electric duo, which showcases powerhouse vocals and colorful guitar solos. The evening will feature originals, blues standards, and a few renditions of more familiar tunes. Scene Magazine describes The Catcalls having, “the vibe, the chemistry, and the raw energy of a fresh band thirsty for action and success.” The two frontwomen, Riley Ann & Kayleen Patrick, met at a grassroots organization Riley Ann started called the Coalition of Women Songwriters in Boulder, CO. The organization aims to connect and empower women in the music community. The band is currently in the studio recording their debut E.P. and expects to release it this summer.
