Rachel Sara Roberts is a dynamic, versatile and determined singer/ songwriter. Originally from the small town of Anoka, MN, Rachel’s soulful tone and smoky timbre win over every audience. She is the writer, band-leader, lead singer and lead acoustic guitar player of her own band. In addition to writing for and performing with the band, Rachel performs in many forms; musical theater, solo shows, classical voice competitions, background vocalist for other singers and church bands. Her versatility is effortless and attracts diverse audiences across the mid-west. Rachel grew up with music in her blood. She fell in love with Country music as a teenager, singing along with Miranda Lambert, Sugarland and Martina McBride. Since then, she has never looked back.

Determined to play and sing, she picked up the guitar at age 18 and started learning and writing songs that were carved from a deep place in her heart and soul. Rachel’s determination and stellar work ethic come from her extensive classical training in her early college years at Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI. Her classical training merged with her soulful roots in country and is reflected in her songwriting and phrasing today. Rachel co-produces and co-arranges with her good friend and established musician, Benjamin James Kelly of Coffee Pot Productions. The two arrange each song with great detail, bringing them to life. Rachel pulls each original composition from her personal experiences in life and with that, comes a passionate view into her soul; taking her audience on a journey through the mystery that is, her love life. She is currently working on her first self-titled EP, which is set to be released in the Spring of 2015. Rachel’s passion can only be matched by her natural ability to create songs. From the story to the performance, Rachel lives the songs and her sound. Influenced by country, americana, blues and pop music of all ages, she blends these sounds and style into a catchy charming sound that is relatable to anyone. She works hard and believes in building a great team of producers, players, friends and family to help her with her journey.
