EYT

EYT

EYT was formed by accident. Bassist/songwriter Ethan Yeshaya was asked if he wanted to be on the bill for a show in Minneapolis. He lied and told them he had a band. With but a month before the show, he approached Omid Huttar and LA Buckner, two of the top-call young musicians on the scene. The chemistry between these 3 went beyond that first show. Unspoken cosmic brotherly love translated through a deep love and respect for every and all music. Over 2 years, EYT has diversely developed their sound combining genres of R&B/Neo-Soul, Funk, Indie Rock, 80’s pop, punk rock, and gospel and jazz influence.

“EYT – Ethan Yeshaya’s down-to-earth, heartfelt lyrics wrapped in soulful twenty-first century jazz. This trio won’t lie or try to impress you. Check out “My Name Is Victory” and “Look” on soundcloud.com … or just come on out June 4th and feel the sound!”

Jessica Manning

Jessica Manning is a singer/songwriter born in Sweden and based in the Twin Cities. She draws influence from pop & soul music and artist such as Frank Ocean, James Blake and, Kevin Garrett. Jessica’s music creates an atmospheric landscape that her melodies and thoughtful lyrics soar high above, all supported by a combination of booming electronic and acoustic drums.

“Oh those vocals. I could listen all day to her rich, soulful, and clear tones. Her words speak of a wisdom far beyond her years, but her ego does not follow. Elements of soul, as well as a floating atmosphere… weave themselves together to create a modern sense of soul: the perfect soundtrack for sunrise or sunset.” – Kelsey Simpkins (Sofar Sounds)
