“The Alt Collective” feat.
Beautiful Bones,
Runaway Ricochet
 The Dryft,
& Motherwind
Booming along the river bends of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, you’ll find Motherwind launching their songs at the masses. Forming in August of 2020, the quartet—Anthony Frey (vocals, guitar), Nate Rogers (lead guitar), Michael Hargens (bass), Jackson Kleingartner (drums)—has already taken lengthy strides in revealing their primal artistry to the masses, despite their formation amid the coronavirus pandemic. The group originally began writing songs under the name “The Color Scene”, writing and rehearsing at a friend’s ranch, and in the years since adopting their current name, have worked to spread it around the Midwest via their electrifying live show and unique eclectic sound. The young group’s 70s-bred roots and alt-groove sound has left the floors of rock clubs and bars tremoring, and the concoction of psychedelic riffs and hair-raising chord progressions leaves their audiences stirred. Motherwind has shared the stage with the likes of contemporaries such as Gemini Syndrome, Crobot, The Black Moods, OTNES, and P.O.D., and the band is consistently invited back to venues. With a full gig schedule supporting their growth, an endless drive to write and create, and a familial approach to engaging with their fanbase, the young group has already shown efficacy in creating a blazing reputation within the rock scene and leaving a lasting impression on listeners and showgoers alike. Current focuses of the band include finishing writing and producing their upcoming EP, maintaining a consistent gigging/touring schedule, ridding the world of piñatas one gig at a time, and otherwise continuing to find new and exciting ways to bring people into the Motherwind family with their tasty brand of alt-rock.
Runaway Ricochet:

Take the dashed dreams of bankrupt colleges, cold winters of Minneapolis, blend them up with a mix of ska, punk, jazz, and metal to make Runaway Ricochet (results may vary based on childhood trauma). This mix of musical misfits aim to push the boundaries of what can be classified as ska with intricate song compositions performed with bombastic energy
Beautiful Bones (set):

Beautiful Bones is an alt-rock band consisting of teenagers from the greater Minneapolis area. Forming back in December of 2022, the band consists of Sophia Repice (lead vocals), Gavin Valentine (vocals, guitar), Bria Davis (guitar), Luke Carlson (bass), and Jack McCally (drums). The five all have a deep aspiration for playing instrumentally (and vocally) challenging songs to improve their collective ability to perform as a band. There’s no better genre than alt-rock to bring that out in a musician. Originally, the five started out in a music school in Eden Prairie Minnesota called “School of Rock”. There they made connections and learned how to become confident and entertaining performers on stage. Over the past seven months they’ve played show after show across the greater twin-cities area including bars, local music venues, art festivals, and much more. Although just a cover band, Beautiful Bones does everything in their ability to remix songs in their own unique alt-style while keeping the original feel in-tact.
