Mean Magic w/ The Customers, Edith Head, & Shrimp Olympics

Celebrating the summer solstice with an eclectic mix of rock and roll!

The Customers are a rock and roll band formed in the 1990’s at the behest of Neil Young manager Elliot Roberts who, based upon song demos that had found their way to his desk, signed Chanhassen native Ryan Sexton to Young’s then fledgling Vapor Records. The band has toured with Ben Folds Five, The Meices, played festivals in Europe featuring Young and Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Foo Fighters (among others); opened shows for Bad Religion, Soul Asylum, and supported Iggy Pop on several West Coast dates. Television appearances include ABC in Concert and The Conan O’Brien Show. After returning to Minneapolis in the early 2000’s, Sexton and the Customers followed up the college-friendly GREEN BOTTLE THURSDAY album with an EP, SEVERBUDDYAPPY. The band now returns to local venues in support of the Kevin Bowe-produced LP, SWEET FATALITY.

Shrimp Olympics began as the home recording project of Austin Lombardo of Minneapolis. As of 2024, their current line-up consists of Austin, Teagan DeVoe, Stone Thompson (The Patients), Mat Roberts (Mild High Club, Paul Cherry), and Alex Graves (Purple Funk Metropolis, Brunette)

Mean Magic play a mix of indie, country, garage, punk…whatever catches their fancy, really.

EDITH HEAD is a three-piece straight-ahead rock band from Minneapolis. EDITH HEAD’s vibe is sometimes comical and sometimes melancholy—you know, just like life. Est. 2023.
