Brunch with Monarch and CHALK

Brunch is an eight-piece soul-pop band serving up a fresh sound with an infectious amount of funk. Their repertoire consists of both uniquely stylized originals along with slick takes on classic funk and pop tunes you know and love. With spicy horn lines, catchy melodies and a whole lot of groove, this is a Twin Cities band ready to get you moving.

Monarch is a Twin Cities-based five piece rock band. With influences ranging from the heavy-psychedelia of the 60s and 70s, to the soothing lo-fi aesthetics of modern indie music. Whether you’re looking for some hard rocking head-bangers or some danceable funky grooves, you’ll find them at a Monarch show.

CHALK is an R&B , Soul, and Jazz band that has newly formed with members Magdalene Mcclun (Vocals), Isaac Gelfman (Guitar), Jared Ammon (Drums), Xavier Morrissey (Bass), and AJ Rahm (Saxophone). Based out of Minneapolis , this new band looks to create soothing and groovy tunes reminiscent of Moonchild and Hiatus Kaiyote.
