Joey Verskotzi: Verskotzi is Minneapolis based singer-songwriter, Joey Verskotzi. Verskotzi teamed up with local producer, Izaac Burkhart, at the Relic Room Studio in Northeast, MPLS to record the 5-song debut EP, “Lesson Learned.” Songs like “Sell My Soul” and “Give it Rest” have achieved radio play and the attention of local/ regional press. These songs are lyrically honest, giving listeners a chance to hear about and connect with Joey’s pain, loss, and love that inspired the meaning behind “Lesson Learned”.
Bitterroot Band: Woody Guthrie and his student of folk, Bob Dylan, along with individualists like Tom Waits and Johnny Cash are the reason The Bitterroot Band exists. With this foundation, the band constructs meaningful folk-minded lyrics with a backbone of rebellious rock attitude on raw traditional instruments.
